My name is Barbara Pagnotti. I am married and the mother of a 14 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. I began teaching nineteen years ago at South Elementary School. In my free time I walk the beach with my puppy, read, listen to music and spend time with family and friends. I love searching the internet for new ideas to make learning more interesting for my students!
As an educator I strive to create and support a classroom environment based on mutual respect and kindness. I believe that children learn best when they feel cared for and safe. I expect children to follow the rules and always strive to do their finest work even when something may seem difficult. I want my students to develop a love of learning so that they will become lifelong learners. My goal is to provide students with the materials, opportunities, instruction and support so that they can believe in themselves and do their best. Creating lifelong learners is a collaborative effort. Parents, teachers and students must all work together. It is so important to keep lines of communication open between home and school. You can reach me at [email protected].
